There is a bill in committee in the Florida Senate, SB868, that will make it illegal to remove any "archaeological specimen" from any City, County or State park AND all tidelands...AKA the PUBLIC BEACH!!! Please go the Treasurenet shipwrecks forum...there are links there to contact the involved state senators who will vote on this thing and to give you more information on the bill...go to the END of the thread... This is NOT just about shipwrecks!!!. It doesn't matter what state you live in...if you are even THINKING about going to Florida on vacation, this concerns YOU...As a matter of fact YOU will help even more, because you are tourist dollars to the State of Florida...Tell them you will spend those dollars elsewhere...This thing is no joke...Spread the word...the vote is TOMORROW...this bill has been snuck through the legislature...If it sounds like I am panicking, I am. A wheat penny can be construed to be an "archaeological specimen"...

They want to take away all our rights. The public library even blocks access to NRA.org. My doctor's office called and said I had to have a drug screen before I can refill my pain medications. I guess if you have an inoperable back injury you're considered a criminal by our government. You can't drink raw milk or even let your kids eat what they want to at school because of the food police. If I wasn't so sick and tired and overweight, I'd start a revolution. lol
Even tho the repooblicans are just as low down as the demoncrats, I will vote for a stray cat against our current commander in chief. 99 percent of both parties are crooked and power mad, and the other 1 percent can't get any bills passed. It don't make any sense to me, but I'm just a fat guy from Arabi.
 
Sounds like this wiil impact big time treasure hunters more than us.If you find an old spanish coin don't yell and jump up and down. just drop it in the pouch like it's a pulltab.It' not like there is a government agent with binoculers hiding behind every lifegaurd stand (yet). Tell people you found it in Texas or another free state. Yes that's a lie but they lie to you all the time.It's going to come down to us melting down our historic finds to get any value out of them unfortunetly. Do your jumping up and down and hollering at home and tell no one.This is'nt the right way to do things but when your backed into a corner' well ????????
