Hi Ohio Roger & Folks; Roger, they gave you the right advice.Get the spray.!! Just wanted to add a foot note here. Make "sure" you check the local laws regarding getting a proper license or ID. Second, read up on the appropriate laws regarding your rights and responsibilities if you should ever, God Forbid, have to use the spray on some nut like that again.Remember a good rule of thumb anywhere is: USE ONLY "REASONABLE OR EQUAL FORCE".You DO have the right to protect yourself from harm regardless of whether you are metal detecting or not.!!
But PLEASE protect yourself(s) legally as well as physically.I'd hate to see anyone getting arrested or criminally charged. THAT will mess up your head. I wish all of you safety and good hunting. PEACE:RONB
