Hello jusy purchased a tesoro Tiger Shark with 8 inch coil any info on how to operate on fresh and salt water beaches would help me alot. THANK YOU Paul

I bought one last fall but only got out to use it twice... i found the owners manual online..read it over and over.. i know there are 2 controls inside the box which must be adjusted prior to entering water and are adjusted with tiny screwdriver. .one is sensetivity and i think the other might be volume so your tinking with those 2 should be minimal if at all..the rest are on the outside.. read and reread manual.. you might want to post this on the beeb and dig forum as thats where the tosoro guys hang out. . more than that i dont know yet myself..

Thabk you bootyhoundpa i will post it on there as well.

ive been useing a tiger shark for 16 years.what i do is go to a place with no emi, open the unit up, the volume and sen. pot is on the lid.use a small scred driver and adj to your liking.i turn the pot{the little plastic looking screw]to the right until the detector starts chattering, then go back to the left, slowly until the chatter stops.i usely ground balance in the first lake i hunt in that summer.then just leave it alone.not very good in salt water. you will lose depth, an it will chatter big time.
