Re: Virginia button in a Union camp

I went out last Sunday to a Union spot I've been hunting. I dug the usual union relics we find there but to my surprise I found a Virginia button. This is the second Confederate button I've found in a Yanky camp. I'm not complaining because Confederate buttons are scarce for me.

Sweet.

Those star bases are nice. CCH

Thanks guys. The spot has produced US base bullets. I was really trying to get one of those. It wasn't to be lol.

I think it is better described as "Union camp around a Virginia button"!
Lol no doubt buddy.

Probably belonged to a prisoner. Put that button is a special place there Yank. What a nice find, especially considering where you found it.
You're ole bud, Reb

Thanks buddy. It'll go in with my better buttons. I have it in a plastic holder. It's protected from other stuff beating on it. I found it in a sixth corps area. Take care friend.

Nice save.
