just trying to find out how he done. and how many people he saw using the explorers and how did they do?treasure hunt 11 and 12 in hampton il. anybody going?

I did ok for a first timer. The compitition hunt was a joke!!! I should have saved my money. The regular hunts were ok. I took everyones advise and tried a Tesoro for a couple of events. Yuk!!!!
I went back to the Explorer and did just fine. At least I was not digging craters to pull up nails and junk! The comp hunt was a real eye opener. How those guys can come up with upwards of 150 coins in 45 min. is wild. Thats 3 to 4 a min. I strained to get 40!!! The funny part is I got far more in the regular hunts without the stress. I won't do the comp thing again. I want to have fun not kill myself to prove I can get more than the next guy. There is a hunt in B.C. next week and I'll be there will be no comp hunt.
There was one other guy with an Explorer. He did ok also. Mabey if I had some practice with the Tesoro I could have done better but I don't see how anyone can hunt with a nono tone machine that sounds the same for every target. I want to know if I'm digging coins or junk!
