Re: The Surgery The Lord Is Good...

To all my Brother's and Sister's in Christ

Well, the procedure went fine, was home early that evening and everything was fine till about 3:00AM when my prostate began fighting for space with my bladder. My bladder got cut off and the pain and weak stream began to hinder the recovery process, what pain, so imagine what our Lord Jesus endured.

When I could not handle the pain I proceeded to the ER at Einstein, where the staff of the ER left me in very serious pain for 3 1/2 hours, mean while a MTA worker came in with a head injury and he was admitted immediately, treated and released. I don't understand how an associate who works for XXXXXX, after having surgery less than 24 hours before be left waiting to be treated in a ER waiting room.

I've had my share of tubes and stents being put into me, the blood drawing, not to mention the pain. Dr Hoenig came to me at about 4:00PM and drained my bladder and I have the collection bag which will be in place till Monday, when both the tube and the stents will be removed. He explained that because I'm older, it's not uncommon for this to happen. I will begin a regiment of Flowmax to relax the prostate and the stones will be tested to see which foods and or drinks to stay away from to prevent problems in the future.

Dr. Hoenig is suggesting another week to recover to make sure that no infection sets in and the healing can really begin. Please pray for me and my family as we have been hit hard with so many ills. Wife recovering from Shingles, me and my Kidney Stones, and my son Jetro with Chicken Pox and Scrape Troat... Thank you all for your concern.

Phil

PS Today I finally got some sleep, but had to be careful not to move around to much because of the catheter tube to collect my fluids and bring them out without causing pressure. Before my sleep last night, I only had two hours sleep since my surgery which was Tuesday with nothing but pain.
