Well found a New Tone Golden uMax. I been wanting to try one for Years. These are getting hard to find.
Anyways did a Little Air Test and with The 8" Brown Donut coil will Hit 9" Dime with a clipped but repeatable High tone. I was surprised as heard not a Depth Demon But that is pretty good to Me. But will have to get it out once warms up. My ground is Mild so will see. I mainly got for Newer Parks To Jewelry hunt as We still have a lot of those close by. And maybe to break down and backpack into the woods with to hunt old foundations. Lite as feather and one 9 volt to boot. What not to love about this little jewel. Here are a few pics.

You found one Harold, congrats!-----If you ever want to sell it--give me first chance at it PLEASE (I'm serious).------I had one & it absolutely put the fun back in detecting.----Don't ask me why I got rid of it--nobody ever accused me of being too smart!-----------Del

Congratulations on the new Golden u-max . Definitely a
good unit and yours seems hotter than most. That older
Golden I used to own netted me the most silver coins
in 1 hunt I ever found. Also found some great lower
conductive targets with this unit. This was on a residential
homesite and was a great day for me. Put that baby to
work soon here and I think you'll really like it for what it
is really capable of. Great score buddy!!!
