Hey guys,
I just wanted to say,"Thanks", for jumping in there the other day with your much appreciated comments on the 4x6 when I was asking Monte about some coil comparisons. Sorry it took so long, but work has been keeping me very busy, so I was unable to jump back in sooner.
You guys have convienced me to hold on to it. I figure, since I already have and all, might as well keep it and give it a try. And hearing your experiences with it, it sounds like it could come in handy.
The other day, a friend and I went to an old home site and I forgot how bad and tough it is to work those sites (it has been awhile for me). I took the 5.3 but it was still tough. I bet the 4x6 would have been the ticket out there. I will try it next time.
Hey Rick, I have a question for you. Did I read correctly that you sold your GT? Believe it or not, you are one of the main reasons why I finally decided to take a big leap and buy one (my first minelab), and then I read a few weeks later that you sold it. Boy, that had me worried (and still does, actually). Why did you sell it? Was one of your other, older-model, Sovereign's better?
I remember reading something you posted stating that when you first got your sovereign, you were thinking, "What did I get myself into"? All I can say is, I'm thinking the same thing right now. But I'm patient and will continue to practice with it to get to understand what she is telling with the things I dig up. Hopefully, my heart will change on how I feel about her currently. One thing for sure, playing with other detectors make me really appreciate the MXT even more.
Any ways, thanks again you guys and I'll catch up with you later.
Take care.
Sincerely,
Rick
