Re Repair turnaround

erikk

New member
Just got a call from Fisher about my CZ7a pro. They fixed the jack & will return ship day after tomorrow. Thats fast. Now they also said that my Timber wolf headphones were also broken...
I don't know if I mailed in the warranty card so should I get them fixed or just get another set? If another set which ones and where? I'm in SW FL with no local dealers
Thanks

Hi erikk, Did they say what is broken on your headphones? Yeah Fisher is really fast on service for sure. Do you know how to use a soldering iron erikk? I bet you can send in the headphones and they will repair them if they are fairly new at no charge or a minimal charge. As expensive as headphones are I would try to get them repaired. Boy you have got a hot detector there too, I have got a CZ7a also and I love it. Well erikk I will CU later and God Bless ya.

John:
There didn't seem to be anything wrong with them and they haven't been used much so I was surprised when Fisher said they were broken, I have been trying to get in touch with the manufacturer but so far no luck. Also just picked up a DFX so now I have a backup

Hmmm, that is strange and I would be curious when you get them back to hear if you find anything wrong? I have always heard the DFX is a nice detector and I hope it serves you well erikk. I will CU later and God Bless erikk.

I would look into getting them repaired.....especially if it's free or you only need to pay shipping or whatever. That's what happens with my Killer B's. Maybe ask a dealer who carries Timberwolf's & they should be able to give you an address to send repairs to....
good luck,
Bill
