Re-phrase question. Do all the new Fisher Goldbug SE's need to be returned to Fisher? Anyone get a good one out of the box?

Got mine from Kellyco couple months back and have had zero problems. My wife pulled a small diamond post outta 7" dry sand on Huntington Beach while we were there for a couple hours during a short vacation during the All Star game week. She really likes it and I have a hard time getting it away from her for me to use since it is so light and easy to use. Nice machine!
