a Conn. Copper, circa 1786 or 1788, someone please varify. It was found not far from the site where my hunting buddy found the 5 pounded (Cannon Ball) This is the route and area where Gen. Glover had a skirmish with the British as Washington fled to New Rochelle to join forces with other generals. They say it was a turning point in the war... 4,000 troops marched up Shore Road towards New Rochelle. Thanks for looking...God bless and HH, I'll be returning tomorrow to see if any more goodies like this one is tucked away somewhere.

This coin may be KGII Halfpenny or similar and not a CT copper. I also like to point out that it was at least ten years later when the skirmish was fought there near Glover's Rock in 1777. It's amazing how people got around in those days and that in some time or another people did lose their money. Thanks for the correction Don... and HH to all.
