HI FOLKS; I HAVE A TOLTEC 100. BEEN USING IT FOR YEARS.LOVE IT. LAST YEAR JUST AS WINTER SET IN I PLUGGED MY HEADPHONES IN TO IT AND THE AUDIO WENT DEAD ON ME.NOW I CAN'T GET ANY AUDIO OUT OF EITHER THE HEADPHONES OR THE CONTROL BOX ITSELF.ANY INPUT ON HOW TO FIX IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.THANKS. in your detector, a wire may have broken off or the tab in the jack may be broken.
 
They will probably tell you to send it in and they will probably fix it up free and probably even pay the return shipping.

There is only one thing to do: send it to Tesoro. I've owned a Toltec 100 for a long time, and the only problem it ever had was similar to yours. If you open the control box, it voids the warranty. If the warranty isn't in your name and you open the box and accidentally create a problem, it will cost you more in the long run. Tesoro's technicians are excellent to work with. I've never had any problems in over 19 years of dealing with them. Let them fix it and they will stand behind their work. I still believe the Toltec 100 has the most accurate analog meter ever.
