Here is another New York City Transit Token from the early days, got it when I went into iron mask to look for a silver dime that got mixed in with the iron that came out of the hole... Most of the the coins from this area were in very trashy and iron infested. The Explorer does a wonderful job of sniffing the silver right out.

Here's my digs for another 4 days, two days last week and two days this week. 21 silver in all with again plenty of Wheaties, and Clads not show. Today I dug a record 4 silver quarters, 5 quarters in all...

Where's the NITRO!!! :detecting: This was a heart stopper for a moment, I kept saying... no way. Well, it's plastic attached to base metal that came in like a coin. I thought it was silver, but remembered that this style coin was never issued in silver...

Here'a a close up of the coins... I can't believe the amount of silver that had been dug in this small patch of wood. I thank the Lord for the freedom to go out and hunt... HH all...
