Unfortunately we were broke because as always.. the job is late again on paying my invoices. I had a couple of things I had to take care of anyway, and look forward if the Lord wills it to go there next year.

I'm happy to hear that you all had a good time. I'm from Utah, well born there and when I visited my father in Midvale and the family in surrounding areas, it was the most beautiful country I have seen and sure Michigan is the same.

Well, the gold is starting to pop up here this week. The beach was pack from corner to corner, but the percentages were off a lot for the amount of people. In all that I know of only about 15 pieces were dug from Sunday to today. I got an awesome 10 KT gold bracelet, not stamped but it tested for 10KT... Today the first official ring which fit the wife perfectly. It's one of those Kisses ring with diamonds in the X's, 6 diamonds tested good and very good quality stones. A small gold cross, silver ear ring, and a very old small gold ring that has no stamp. I think it's one of the first drops at that beach in the twenties, very deep... at en eroded spot. Pics to follow... God bless you all...

Good finds there Phil! I'm looking to hit the water soon too... No low tides I can hit until the end of June but I'll at least be able to hit the beach. Maybe I'll stop by tonight for a nice walk and a little swinging. Went Monday night for about an hour... the tide was way up though. Only managed a little clad but I added two more dinkies to my growing collection :) A nice formula one race car and a bulldozer
