You know brothers and sisters, I was working for a very rich person in March during the spring. Here was a person whose husband is very well off, and I had gotten word a few months early that I may not have a job come the middle of July. She look so angry about something and who cares what it was, but I turned to her and said, "There are a lot of People who will not never see the sun raise, nor will they ever see the stars in the sky tonight or any night, she then shrug herself in the seat and stopped complaining.

You know I felt as though those words were placed in my month just for her that day, and I try to repeat those words to myself everyday, especially when I'm in a bind where my mind runs away with me. I imagine, and don't take this seriously, but I would like to relate it as a treasure hunting post here, but I can imagine how the Lord from the foundation of the world pick as if a hunter, looking for those to chose, because look as us, we hunt and when we find junk, what do we do with it, we throw it away, if we find something that can be repaired, we fix it and keep it or give it away to someone who can use it if we have one, but, when we find platinum, gold, silver, diamonds, precious stones, ah how we keep them and take care of them and try not to lose them again.

I feel the Lord is the same way, he also chooses us, we don't choose him, for we all have gone astray, each his own way. So the Lord will throw away the junk (The Stubble which grows with the wheat)into a dark place where there will be gnashing of teeth. What can be fixed, the Lord will fix, you know those who were in deep sin, he forgive because of the blood Christ shed, he cleans and then sends them out to help and bring others that have been chosen into his barn, and there are those that are like Platinum, Gold, and Silver, arrayed in precious stones for his Kingdom, whom he will watch and no evil can touch them, and if the evil one does affect there life's with whatever he desires that the Lord give him permission to throw at them, like death, sickness, lost work, hard times, lack of food. The Lord is there for them because they have been chosen since the foundation of the earth... How great is the Lord great...

Sounds as though I was preaching, I'm sorry and hope the forum administrator does not hold this thread against me... Anyway, here is this weeks gold and silver... Enjoy and continue to pray for one another, and thanks to all you and Guv, for praying, and the words of encouragement form some of you to continue on in these trying times, but I'm happy with what I have and consider myself bless to see the sun and stars rise, and all the beautiful things that the Lord have made... God bless... If you feel I was out of order in how I expressed a little bit of how I see life, please let me know and do excuse me, but I am going through a crises...LOL.

...Sometimes I feel like that lady, seems I always have something to complain about. Man, I have it made compared to so many. I have been blessed with so many gracious gifts from God, but Satan tries to blind me with his lies. "Look at your neighbors new SUV, so-an-so is much more succesful, etc., etc." Ha, get thee behind me Satan, for Jesus Christ resides in this temple and you can not enter. Thank you Lord, for all you have done for me and for all you have given me. All I have is yours anyway. What do I have to be proud about? Only you. You gave your Son for me!! I am saved by his precious blood, washed clean of all my sins.

Thanks, Philo, for the reminder. It is easy to get depressed over what life throws at us and life can get very stressful. Thanks for reminding me to be thankful for what I have, a job, a family, a fantastic forum where I can go for encouragement, but most of all, an eternal life in heaven when this old body turns to dust.

Thanks, Philo! Praying for you!

as the saying goes, "there but the grace of God go I."
I think too many people are focused on what they do not have instead of all the blessings they do have and are miserable because of it.
My Mom always taught me to be thankful for what I have and I try and impress the same on my children.
It helps you to see things a little different than most.
God bless,

him get you down! God is with you and the right job will come in time, by being patient and waiting upon the Lord! There is just one thing....the Bible says whosoever will may come and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life and that means anyone who will confess their sins and turn around on the road of life and travel with Him and not away from Him. We must yield to God's Holy Spirit when He calls each of us! There's a song, When He calls me, I will answer. When he calls me I will hear! Salvation comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God! Just remember, JESUS LOVES YOU & WILL NEVER FORSAKE YOU!

Congrats on the nice finds and keep on, keepin' on with our Blessed Lord and Dearest Friend. JESUS!

God Bless!

God never promised us a rose garden on Earth, because Adam and Eve lost that for us! I get depressed at times and think it's unfair when I hear about my ex and the woman, he travels with and not married to, travelling and enjoying the sights while I have to stay home and don't have a car with Power or A/C or that runs good! They are in Maine and I'm sure it's cooler there! I worked and helped him get ahead when we had very little money and helped save the money when he had a better job with the gas company with terrific benefits and pension of which I only got a small portion plus my house that still had a mortgage on it and has a larger one now! I tell God at times it isn't fair, but I just remember unless they truly believe in Jesus and quit their sinning willfully, they will be in torment forever when God's judgement comes upon them. So I pray for their salvation, my children's and for God to comfort and strengthen me and help me to be more than an overcomer in Christ Jesus!

Whatever we do have, our Father in Heaven has given us, for every perfect gift comes from Him! Keep the faith, Jesus is with His own and we are His Children!

God Bless!
Betty
