Ahhhhh, what do we have here is what I said when this one came to light. It was covered completely in rich soil, and all I can see were parts of the spread eagle and stars on the back. Upon looking further I noticed that they were not worn at all...[attachment 30862 barberqt.jpg] Never rub your finds when you have dug them, wait till you get home and just rinse the soil off first, rubbing your coins to see the date or for other signs as to what you have dug will depreaciate it's value. It's bad enough that dug coins are always graded as environmetally damaged as it is... HH and God bless.
