How could i benefit by using a 15&8 inch coil along with my stock one.Would either one of these two take the place of the 10.5?????

My Sunray X8 has become my coil of choice, but I hunt tight quarters and iron alot.. I do still use the stock 10 in spots that I want to get deeper, and X5 in extreme trash.. if you hunt beaches you might want the 15 to cover ground and get a bit deeper yet.. Hmmm maybe Coiltec will come out with a 6 by 12 next <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

Hi Dave,
Thats kind of an easy question to answer. Both the 15 and 10 inch coils are great for the beaches and farms where your really not going to run into much trash as you would at your local parks or schools and youll dig just about everything anyway but the down side is the weigh of these coils. now if your really looking for good separation your not going to beat the 8 incher or if your looking for even better separation i'll use the 5. Its helps out if you got all the right tools. Hope this helps.
