re cobra beach magnet

good morning all,
just wanted to say thanks to all that replied to a recent post i put up about the cobra beach magnet. thanks to all that replied. i took y'alls advice and ended up ordering me a tesoro sand shark. it came in the mail yesterday. can't wait to go use it. thanks again for the input. also i have 1 other question : where can you buy the silicone gel sealant for the face plate ? do i have to order it from tesoro? all help much appreciated. thanks, dave d.
 
a much better choice of detector to say the least!!:clapping: I use clear silicon grease that came in a small round container that I got from one of the major home improvement stores.
 
Pool stores or hardware/home improvement stores....congrats on the new tector....good luck with it!!!

I found some at a local hardware. Or try a scuba store. Make sure it says No Petroleum products on the label. You want petroleum grease

The best silicone you can get is in a db kit. A db kit is what they use to fix telephone wires. See if you can find someone who works for the phone Company and ask if they have an extra DB kit , most of the time they will give you one .The silicone last for a long time. The kit I have , I have had for about 7 years.
