Can the Ace 250 be converted into a two-box detector, like the Garrett GTI 2500 and other Garretts? (If you don't know what I am talking about, please see: Aardvark
 
Well, can fellow make his own dual box system or a large (maybe 3' by 3') coil for it?
 
I am not sure if the operation of the 250 can work like that, the Ace 250 needs to be in motion, rather rapid motion is best, I would tend to believe the higher end type detectors that use PI or another type of non-motion detection would be a better choice. For all its capabilities the 250 is still a rather simple motion "detection" type machine with a computer running the show. If I am wrong or just confused please, some of the Guru's of MD science please enlighten us, keep digging, China is down there somewhere...
