Looks like a Muzzy Head on a very short arrow (used on Overdraw systems)...Glad you picked it up before some kid found it and cut their fingers off with it...

HH,

Muzzy...overdraw wow BH I'm impressed :clapping: thats exactly what it is and probably a graphite or aluminum
shaft.

yes wishful- thinker it does have a aluminum shaft on it and bh landstar is correct about finding before some kids might of found it. i tell that head on it is still very very sharp.

I used to Bow Hunt also...gave up the hunting thing about 10 years ago...lost interest, and was getting shot at too much in the woods...

HH,

Used to bow hunt myself. In all the years I went the only time I was close enough to get a shot I was laying on my back looking at the sky in an open field. The doe came up and was sniffing me to see what I was. She was 5 ft away. My bow was 20 ft away. Still it was a great experience to be that close to a wild animal. I will never forget the sight of looking up at her against the darkening evening sky.

You can take the broadhead off by turning it ccw...but dont hold It with
your fingers...use pliars to hold....and turn shaft, then you can put it up...or dispose .

Is there a nock (for putting on a bowstring) on the arrow behind the fletching, or is it flat? If flat, it is a crossbow bolt...And someone was poaching...:ban:

HH,

Indeed a crossbow bolt...Even if it was an arrow, the shaft would be conical on the nock end...Someone was being bad unless they were handicapped...most states do not allow crossbows for hunting...They are deemed too powerful...

I agree it is a crossbow bolt. But not necessarily lost by a poacher. Here in Oklahoma, it is legal for a disabled person who is unable to use a longbow, to hunt deer and turkey with a crossbow. Don't know about your state ,but think it would be similar.
