Rattle in IDX meter box

Some how I got a rattle in the display of my IDX.
It still works fine, but when you sweep fast or rock the detector you can hear it.
Has anyone ever experienced this and can the user repair it or does it need to be sent in for service?

If you are really really careful you can pry the back off the IDX. Be careful, the screen is alligned on pegs and can pop off.This doesn't give you access to the entire assebly but it might allow you to see what is going on. It all just snaps back togather but be sure everything is lined up well before trying to close it. Hope this helps
