Rare Feb. Hunt!!

Even in Cincinnati the ground freezes in February. Last it warmed up to the 60's and rained for 3 days in a row. The ground had been frozen solid to that point. It was 40 out today so I thought I'd take a chance. The ground had thawed but was plenty wet.I hit a local soccer field for a couple hours. Was hoping for some jewelry; but all I got was clad. It was still nice to be out though.HH

If we don't get a drastic break in the weather soon, this will go down in my "history book" as being one of the only February's that I didn't get out to detect. Oh, there have been some real cold adventures over the years. But, I've always managed to find some side hill with a southern exposure that would yield a couple coins. Not this year. But, glad to see that you are able to get out and swing the coil. :detecting: HH Randy

Glad you could get out..Still frozen in the North.
