and thought it might make a semi-interesting post.

Several years ago my wife decided I needed "something else" to do. I didn't much want to, but she talked me into making a few pieces of jewelry from vintage silverware. Surprisingly.....they sold very well. I now make several hundred pieces a year. These are entry pics I took for Arts/Crafts show. These are pendants but I also make earrings, brooches, rings, etc.

Dates shown are Patent dates of the pattern. Patterns were usually made for 5 to 20 years depending on popularity. A couple of them are still in production today. HH Bob

whether it's a silverplate or sterling piece, and how rare the pattern is. For a general idea: a pendant with a nice large silver chain goes for $30 to $70. Course that's retail to the public. I make special deals for friends (like on the forum). Bob
