Rainy day detecting yields silver!

I've had my eye on this park for a while not knowing if I'd get thrown out or not. Its in a more affluent area so I figured that it may yield some better goodies. It was raining slightly when I started, perfect for park hunting since no one will be around. Within 15 minuted I pulled a big silver ring, within 2 hours I pulled an additional 18 quarters, 2 nickels, 6 dimes, and 10 pennies. One dime was a '64 silver rosie and one penny was a '55 wheatie, never expected these given the age of the park.

No big dollar finds but I thought that it had potential. I guess the affluent area did pay of in quarters, not every day you find enough to pay for the batteries ... LOL

The ring is unusual, it's marked .925 and it has a bunch of symbols all the way around it. Sun with rays coming out and some that look like a jewish Menorah.... how odd would that be finding it on the first day of Passover?

Sweet ring!
Finding a silver Rosie is just icing on the cake! The nearly $7 in change is always appreciated too I'm sure.

Nice finds.
Probably an open leisure area prior to being designated a park. If the houses are older you might even find earlier pieces.

Nice ring in size XL!

Seems to be a great park to hunt.
Looking forward to see more finds.

Mike
