the house was built around the early 1900's, when he ripped out a kitchen wall he found a box filled with old cards. oj

A young fellow I used to work with found a metal first aid kit box in the cellar work shop he was cleaning out, behind a piece of peg board he was taking to the dump.

He tossed the tin box onto the dump pile and then sensing it didn't "feel" right, opened it to find over ten thousand dollars in gold and silver certificates wedged inside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:surprised:

He showed me some of the bills.

The old couple who built the house many years before had both died with no heirs.

Many such tales exist about such lost treasure and a surprising number of them are true!!

of the old homes we rebuild over the years but did find a bunch of old prohibition whiskey hidden in a wall. Stuff was still good and tagged. He ended up selling most of it to collectors and kept a few for himself. He boxed out a section of the wall where found and put them on display right where he found them.
