Rainbow effect?

I read about the rainbow effect on the screen and there seems to be a screen protector on mine.
Do you take the protector off? That is what looks to be causing the rainbow effect to me.
 
You can take it off if you want i left mine on until i can get a replacement because the dirt can scratch the screen

I will leave it on then wasn't sure if I should take it off.
I will be buying the neavue that MAX put on his it seemed to do a great job on glare.
 
Try cleaning the factory protector for now it will help a little, use a mild lens cleaner or something similar.
