Tuesday's long range forecast called for sunny skies today. I made arrangements to have today off and sure enough, the weather man changed the forecast Wednesday morning to showers. Well today got here and it rained all day. I had made plans to drive to Whites in Sweethome ( about 2 hours one way) to have them give my MXT a checkup. My hope was to detect a little while there. No such luck on detecting. The MXT checked out fine and I did pick up a 5.3 Eclipse coil at the prospecting shop in Sweethome. I am crossing my fingers for a break in the weather this weekend so I can get the skunk off the new coil. I hope everyone else has a chance to get out this weekend.
