Rain made me part the Etrac and bring out the MXT = Gold

I got out Saturday AM and since it was raining took my MXT with me. I had not used my MXT much lately but did not want to get the etrac wet. 15 minutes into the hunt I got only one signal at a volleyball court and it was a 14Kt gold band. I forgot how great a detector the MXT is, especially on gold. Once the rain ended I took my etrac out to do some sidewalk hunting. I got a 12 44 signal at 8" (Penny Signal) and dug down to find a 1914-D Barber. I also got a nice sterling ring. That is my 3rd Gold and 15th Ring of the year and only my second Barber ever. Nice to find some old silver for a change.
