ssssoooooooooooooooooooo did anyone get anything good today? I was only out for a hour but I got two old metal buttons. After work tonight I walked across a field I used to play in as a child. And then through the woods and I stopped and asked myself what am I doing out here in the night like this. I mean if I yelled I don't think anyone could ever here me. I came to a clear spot that I could remember from way back. There was a large pile of dirt and I climbed to the top. EVERYTHING was gone. the woods I had played in were gone. in the distance I could see a few cookie cutter homes. bummer. I wished I could have hit that site. there were two old homes from who knows when. sat empty for more years than I was alive. oh well.

Well, The only thing I got today was clad. 10 pennies, 2 quarters, and 1 dime. At least it's not a skunk but close to it.
 
Hawk, No hunting for me today. It's been raining here most of the day. Oh well, It has give me some time to tumble my clad. There will be another day.
 
Dave and myself got out for about 1.5 to 2 hrs today. I did find a silver quater before the rain sent us packing.
 
Hell Jeff there was a gold nugget right above it in the picture!! I didn't see that before. As soon as he finds silver he wants to go. A good thing I suppose, it was pouring about 30 minutes later. I heard some thunder during the downpour. Not a good place to be when you are standing around with a lightning rod in your hands. I'll get ya next week.
 
Cool story. Thanks for sharing. Maybe you can go back there and hunt.

Me, I didn't get out one bit. Been under the weather.... I would have loved to though.
