Rail Road spikes

Ward

New member
Also while unit is in factory settings, and in Relic mode, I can faintly get a signal from a rail road spike lying on the grass.

They're big. It might have a condition where the signal is overloading the machine but not triggering the overload signal. What happens if you lift the loop above it a few inches and swing across it, and then bring it down lower and lower?

I found a whole bunch of railroad spikes last winter in the woods section of a park, last year is the first I've started using the relic mode with my V3i and I must say with some tweaking it's a great program indeed. I also found a bunch of tools and a few cast iron toys too along with several stainless knives, one of them I use regularly, its a Victorinox skinning knife and the peat type dirt that I found it in hadn't taken a toll on the rosewood handles either.
