Today i was thinking of going to my 30,s shack but was so discouraged as i have not found one coin so far just bullets and slugs . I prayed to God if anything is at this spot . LORD I need encouragement. , but then i just said man nothing is going to be in that spot I am just going to make a fire its cold today. so i got the firewood ready and needed some paper so I went to the paper pile and grabbed some and on the 1st paper was written in big letters Believe. so i took that as a sighn to go , after a 3/4 mile ride thru the woods i got to the old shack and tuned up the racer and started swinging and it did not take long i found my very 1st coin in this spot a 1930 D wheat cent i was just amazed so I took a break., and after the break i lit up the Racer again and going along i got a different hit not the after found 22 shell that reads 51 it was reading in the 70,s solid up come a chines coin , and going along again another one so to say the least i was encouraged to keep searching so this is the 1st coins ever and i have been out to this spot many times don't know anything about the china coins but the site is from the 30,s strange for this part of minnesota

the site is from the 30,s so i am hoping for a nice condition standing liberty quarter, the ground is mild GB of 73 on the Red racer , thats like doing air testing when the ground is that mild

The Racer smoked out a few nice goodies!! Just never know what is going to turn up. Glad you finally made some nice finds Gunnar. There very well may be a SLQ or other nice quality coin waiting for you.

Do some research on the Chinese coins, it's quite interesting. I found some with similar markings and they turned out to be from the late 1700's. You typically cannot get an exact date as the Chinese went by reign of their emperors for their coinage, but you will be able to narrow it down to within a few decades. Plus there will usually be a symbol designating which mint it was made. Nice first coins!

good job  I liked the story too , good to follow the signs if we can sometimes they are not so obvious but they are there, good story made me smile !!
