Racer arm cuff

I find that the arm cuff on the racer doesn't go back far enough. Pretty much the same problem as on the AT Pro. Anyone else find this to be the case?

Yes, but I'm so tall that I don't expect anything to fit right.
"One size fits all" is a joke in my family.

But even compared to other detectors, such as Tesoro models, I thought
the arm cuff was a bit short. However, I've gotten used to it and it doesn't
bother me. The Velcro strap that holds my arm in place makes it work fine.

I'm 6ft 3" and it is perfect but i guess if your forarm is long there would be a issue :drinking:

I'm 6'6" and I have about a 6'9" wingspan, so my arms are a bit long, even for my height.

But as I said, I've become accustomed to the Racer's arm cuff and don't think it's
a problem for me anymore. It's true I was a little surprised that I couldn't adjust the
cuff over a longer distance when I first set it up. But now? It's fine.

However, I'll be interested to see if it's a problem when, and if, I get the big RC40 coil.
That would put a bit more stress on my arm, and a better fitting cuff might be needed,
or at least strongly desired. If anyone in the L.A. area has an RC40 they'd be willing
to lend out for an hour or two, I'd love to try it to see if I'm compatible with it.

Hey, Dilek. Do you need a tall RC40 tester? I'm your man.

good luck with that one :jump:

sometimes we just have to come up with an idea that works for us if something doesn't suit , I am 6' 2" and its fine for me but you have long leavers good for slam dunks? I do admit when I 1st picked the machine up thought the cuff might be a problem as in to shallow, but seems good so far.

sometimes being bigger is an advantage sometimes not guess we take the good with the not so good, but necessity is the mother of invention or something like that
