Racer 5x10" DD vs 11"DD Depth Test ? :detecting:

I've read some good hunt reports on the Racer's 5x10" DD coil, BUT what I'm really curious about, is if anyone's done a depth test between the two coils..... a real, measured depth test?

I'm sure they're probably close in depth, but I would really like to know how close?

Unfortunately I've yet to get my hands on one or I'd test it myself :detecting:

Since I get the 5x10 I never use the 11" coil but both are deep and when hunting in iron you don't need a lot of depth

I was hoping for something a bit more definitive.....an actual depth test comparison, as I'm trying to decide if it would be the go to coil even when not hunting in the thick of iron.

the 11 is deeper for cleaner ground I did do a test when I got the 5x10 and had a hard time hitting a deep target so that is why I have all three coils. They are worth the money but I don't really hunt in areas where I need super depth I may use my the deus for that. Its nice to have different ways to use a detector and on the racer you can get the larger coil I think it is like 13". You can't really bury a target and test it that way. Best to have a test garden. But I always have some iron where I hunt so the 5x10 fits my needs and on the deeper targets I'll use deus or the 11

I'll do some testing when I get the 5x10" coil this fall.

I have the RC40 15.5" x 13" coil, and the 5" and 11" coils that came in the Pro Pack, so once I get the 5x10" coil, I'll try to do some testing so I can document the depth on all four coils, in AM, 2-tone and 3-tone modes.
