Racer 2 Updated shipping date info

Southwind said:
Anyone have an updated expected shipping date yet?

Thanks

I haven't seen anything more recent than Dilek's posting saying that it would ship
from there (Turkey) "by March 4". Then there's shipping time, processing in Customs,
and time at the distributor to add to that before anyone in the U.S. actually gets one.

Has anyone seen anything to update this?

I just saw a posting by Dilek on another forum saying that they just got an updated order
from the distributor and now will ship on March 7.

Probably had to double the initial order to cover demand.

I got an email from Makro saying they planned to ship to the US distributor at "the end of this week".

Currently getting about 10" of snow here so no worries on my order running behind. ...

If you hurry you can come join me, my oldest son, Monte Jr., and Oregon Gregg as we are headed out in about an hour-and-a-half for a ghost town hunt today. It was 47° just before 2 AM but has cleared and temps have dropped to 34° at 6 AM, but it will be pleasant, clear, sunny  and hit about 58°-60° today. There's plenty of area to hunt and I might even let you borrow my Racer 2 ... for a few minutes :) ... when I pause to take off my fleece jacket when it warms up this morning.

Finishing up some field work to get a few product reviews written the next couple of days when we have some warm rains arrive. Those will be welcome due to the drought conditions here in Eastern Oregon the past several years, and really nice for a few of us who need the warm rains to melt the remaining snow that is up in the hills and mountains blocking our access to at least three or four old gold mining camps and towns.

I hope your weather improves soon so you can get out an enjoy an excellent detector once it arrives.

Monte

Sounds good Monte! But if memory serves you are a little bit on the Western side of the country. (Edit: I see now that you are in Oregon) So if I leave the house right now and drive straight through, I'll meet up with you for a hunt say..... Saturday? lol. It was a balmy 5 deg. here this morning.... and snowing. The end is in sight tho. Spring is bound to show up sooner or later.
