R2 Relic Settings

Looking for hard core relic hunters using the R2 to share their "gotcha" settings. Any help is appreciated.

Forgot to mention that soil in S.E. Georgia is pretty neutral.

5" coil most important. This is a simple detector to run. I use stock TT and crank up the gain.

I set iron audio to 2, disc to 2, no notch, tone break at 10 and 65, and gain to 98. Works VERY well. It's reported that you can get more depth in two tone mode, but the audio conveys more info in 3 tone mode IMHO. If you need ultimate depth, then 2 tone is probably the way to go, if you're in heavy iron and need ultimate unmasking, then 3 tone is the way to go.

hh,
Brian
