R2 + Nel Hunter coil produces

Got a Nel Hunter coil from OregonGregg here on Findmall, and it really worked well. Balanced better than I thought, and the separation was excellent. Found 1 merc, 1 buffalo, 7 wheats, 2 old pocketknives, etc. at a really trashy spot.

Love my Racer 2.

The Hunter is a great coil on the Racer 2 for larger areas. I use one for most of my ocean beach hunting. A little more coverage and depth than the stock 7 x 11" at about the same weight. The Hunter without the coil cover is actually lighter than the stock coil with it's coil cover.

Greg's a good guy to deal with, and the NEL coils work well on the Racers. I have the Snake coil, awesome little coil for picking through the junk!

I have 3 Makro coils but would love to see a side by side with some touted after market coils.
