QXT update....(kindly read)

Well I had a chance to buy a V3 at a fair price so I decided to sell my newly acquired QXT(cosmetically mint) . I want to thank the many fellow that helped me thru E-mails and a telephone call not to leave out my local Whites dealer who tested the unit and seems like I bought a sick puppy and was not my learning period of a new unit. I had to tell two interested individuals it was not for sale as I would not knowingly sell under these circumstances. Right now its on its way to Whites for evaluation
and am sure it will come back working as it should..In all fairness a unit could be damaged during shipping and with electronics work one day and not the next kind of thing and seller advises he will take care of the issues.Again glad to be a member of this forum and the hobby as sure a nice bunch to help out even us oldtimers with a new type unit..Guess the top of the line will have to wait and will update the forum in the coming weeks...
 
Glad you got to the bottom of that Dan. Pleasure corresponding with you. Sorry the QXT didn't work out but now that you got a V3 hopefully you won't think you're too good for the rest of us. JK Good luck with the V3 and post your finds.

Quote "Guess the top of the line will have to wait".....certainly can't afford a V3 without selling the QXT so indeed going to learn the QXT when it returns which shouldn't be too hard as very familiar with Whites but different models are just that different...Someday I guess, but for now QXT and may upgrade in the future...
 
Sorry Dan my reading comprehension doesn't kick in until my caffeine level is high enough. Did you say you're QXT was sick but you're getting it fixed and keeping it ? Hopefully you are and can keep it even if you pick up a V3. Good luck.

I know the feeling Scott...yep according to online friends(QXT users) and local dealer just wasn't working right and imagine Whites tech's will alleviate any problems..
Heck I thought it was operator error as newbie to unit but was able to stop the sale as I would never knowingly sell a defective unit.

As far as upgrading for the time being without selling some of my units just not feasible financially....but things do change....
