hey guys sorry i have been dormant for abit but i have been detecting. I have been hiting my honey.
hole for a year and a half and it is still producing but only after alot of adjustments. One thing i have found out is that you have to accept all zones and only put alerts on 5 and 7. Five is the tab large ring and seven coin.i like tab lg ring because i have found more gold rings in that zone foil in the qxt find fake gold rings. there is alot that goes through my mind as i detect and keep pulling up silver coins and jewerly over places i have hit time and time again but number one is dont give up on those old sites its there hiding (DIG IT). i went out tuesday evening for about an hour and 45 minutes and hit three mercs a 1919 1941 and 1942with a wider open range accepting zones.

I usually hunt with nothing DISCed out, Sens as high as I can go without too much chatter, PP sense at 16, in coins mode with NO tracking, VCO on, Mixed mode ON, Noise reduction as needed (off if you can), high tones on 4 and 7, dig all the tab signals that sound soil id, but especially the ones that sound weird...For some reason rings come up on those weird sounds...Remember to Ground Balance every 15-20 minutes.
