QXT Pro & Bigfoot Coil ?

Does anyone know if the Bigfoot coil will work with the QXT Pro? I know the QXT doesn't have the absolute value function like the XLT does for all metal mode. Mainly want to know if it will work in discriminate mode. If I can find one would love to use it on sports fields. Thanks in advance Mike.
 
Yes. QXT is a 6.59 KHZ machine, same as Classic, IDX, and XLT. The bigfoot for the XLT will work (the one for the MXT/DFX won't). As I have explained elsewhere, only the front half of the coil is "hot" during pinpoint, but the entire coil is active during normal search. Good luck finding one, though.
 
Thanks for the info. Will be on the look out for one. Not in a big hurry anyway since "Winter" :-( is right around the corner.
