Quite an honor - -

Last night at the Gospel Rescue Mission where I work a man in the program there asked me if I would be his mentor! What an honor to think that someone has been watching me and thinks my way is the right way for him to follow. I said I would like to do so and we'll go from there as to what the mission has outlined for the job.

Wow-his eyes are on you-Make sure you give him a good example to live up to....That is a BIG responsibility.....Just ask "What Would Jesus Do?"...and you will be all right.........

I know the feeling Steve... all of a sudden there's a great responsibility at your feet. A couple of years ago, some real good friends of mine from church asked me to mentor their son. He had gone away to college and, well, got into some real trouble. I don't think I personally did anything but he's doing well now... He's a good "kid"; just made some stupid mistakes. Reminded me of me
