Evidently, one of the deers was already dead, possibly a broken neck. They were really locked together and the other one would have died too. I wonder how that deer was graded and if it broke any records. Thanks for posting this interesting video. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
Adrenalin that had to be coursing through that sucker spoiled its meat?
 
i would not want to try and choke down that meat. Any highly stressed animal makes poor eating for anyone not desperate.
Common for Buck Deer and Bull Elk to get their antlers locked, often times both will die slowly or be eaten alive by predators. Nature can be as nasty as PETA types:devil:

As Wayne said, not uncommon for the antlers to get tangled that way.

I;ve read articles and seen pictures of such events over the years.

This is the first such event where I got to hear from the person who found them via video.

Sad example of mother nature keeping things in ballance.
