Quick Trip Up North With Some Keepers

Sooper Dave

I got a chance this week to go up to Ohio with my buddy Micah on a work trip with a little detecting in between. I didn't have much time to research for spots but found a few places that looked good. It started out great at the first site when Micah found a bucket list coin for him with a 1859 Seated Half Dime! That was a thrill to see his excitement when he realized what he just dug. We both managed to find some keepers over about a day and a half. Here is my pile before a wash, no bucket list coins for me but a lot of fun digging. I sure love detecting up there and wished I could go more often. HH David
