Quick Silver machine?

wbrian

New member
Hi All,
My nephew is coming down to Virginia Beach for a visit in a few days. Well, he went out and bought a MD and will be bringing it down with him. I have an ACE 250 which I am new with and trying to learn. Don't know anything about BH detectors. Anything I should know about the Quick Silver? is it any good? Any good on the beach? Any target areas where it performs better? (IE TOT LOTS...)

Thanks for any heads up you can give. They haven't used it much, as his Mom says "the machine just makes noise all the time." I think the discrimination may be too high and they probably have it in the living room when they turn it on!

THX!
Brian

The Quicksilver is a very easy to use unit. It represents a very good value. Its depth capability is not quite as good as the higher end units but is good enough to handle the depths most treasures are found at 6 to 7 inches depending what the material of the find is made of. I have one and use it for a backup to my Titan 3000XD. he should not be disappointed with the unit.
