i got a sovereign xs-2 pro that has bbs 10 and was looking for larger loop.

seems they would perform similar ....tell me what you think

Between the S-12 and the WOT would be size. There is about a 2.5 to 3 inch difference in size.

They are both lightweight for their size. They are both very sensitive to small items for their size. They are both water-proof.

My preference is for the S-12. Only because I don't like the 15 inches, but prefer the 12 inches. Might sound 'silly' but that is my answer and I am sticking with it.

3 inches. I have them both and they are both good coils I use them on the EX2 and use a swingy thingy so doesn't matter which one I decide to use. Obviously you get better coverage with the WOT provided it isn't too junky

The biggest difference you will find with a larger coil is if you use it in the water. The larger one is harder to swing under the water, you get a drag like effect. On land if you are in a trashy area you will have poor target separation. I swing the SunRay 12 on my Excal and Quattro.......it performs beautifully.
