When I am Metal detecting a salt water beach, should I have the tracking set on SALT or GROUND when I am detecting in the sandy area where the salt water high tide does not reach ?

MXT works fine on beach for me. here's the set up when in wet sand go to the salt on tracking and ground balance - once balance then lock it in center position. Now if your going to come back to the dry sand make sure to switch back to salt or ground and re balance again then go back to lock position. this seems to work best for me. Try it, let me know how it works for you. HH
