Why is their another site to go to linked to this one. Called the Friend's and Finds Forum! How do you know which one is the REAL DEAL? Haven't been out yet but might get there tomorrow for a short while - oop's it's late, I mean today if I can fit it into my schedule.
 
This forum is for strictly white's users now so we can share our finds, ask questions about white's brand detectors & learn from other white's users. It is NOW what it was meant to be.
The "friends and finds" forum is the new spot for all the old posters who at one time took over the white's forum & posted all kinds of non-white's & non-metal detecting posts. They are all over at the "friends and finds " forum now.
A few of us loyal white's users became concerned that , with the recent elimination of other white's forums across the net & the dilution of what this forum once was, it was important to go back to a strictly white's format .. so we made our voices heard despite overwhelming opposition (and a few hate emails) from the the regular posters.

It may be slower with fewer postings, but it is at least a white's forum again (one of only 2 non-model-specific white's electronics forums still on the web (that i know of)).

the owner of findmall gave the others this forum to use because of that and many are whites users
matter a fact most everyone on the friends and finds forum used a whites at one time or still owns one <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">

I enjoy all the forums when I can so keep this thing alive folks <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">.. like jim says its only one of a few left
 
It was the White's Forum many years ago that we all met and became friends. Hope this forum will contiune to produce friendships through the use of White's detectors and the finds and questions associated with their use. I am very grateful to White's for the friendships and finds that are a result of my using a XLT and joining a forum to learn more about its use. I hope the same for this forum. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

The "hate-emails" i mentioned were recieved by me (and another) when we dared to voice our opinion on how we needed this to become more of a white's forum again. Some didnt want ANY change & felt they had to email me to tell me (and another) my opinion wasnt wanted. I never said anyone had left because of someone's hatemail.
What is truely sad (and telling)is that that most of the old posters who used white's machines (who moved to new "friends & finds forum") wont post here anymore (presumedly out of spite) And I suspect THAT is why some questions are going unasnwered now on the forum. That's is what I have noticed after the change.... could be wrong, but i doubt it.
I Do appreciate the ones who still DO post here ... they show real character & loyalty towards the brand that has worked for them.
P.s. And with the few whites forums left on the net ....one can only hope THIS one will gain in popularity. And NOT take joy in its hopeful demise. <img src="/metal/html/nono.gif" border=0 width=22 height=19 alt=":nono">
 
I have swung a Whites in the past and will probably do it again. Right now I'm playing with a HH diver. I usually lurk here, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying and sharing in the excitement of another MD'r good finds. Happy Hunting!
