MAN I cant believe I did it again!!!!! I actually hit another Large Cent.. That makes 4 this year!! AMAZING! I have only found 6 total since I started detecting. I'm still super pumped over this! I was able to sneak this little beauty out of a very hammered spot! I knew there were still targets left.. There were just too many nails.. I put on my little 6 inch excel coil and worked my way out in the front yard of this old farm house. This place is on public property and has been hit on a regular basis long before I ever came along. Let me tell you.. This little coil is hot! right away I started getting hits I know I walked over two days ago.. I started digging old 22 rifle casings at 5 and 6 inches . I made is out towards the front door of the house and hit a blow your headphones off signal.. I couldn't believe how perfect it sounds.. I told myself it cant be a coin.. I had already worked this exact spot with two different larger coils on three different occasions. I opened up the hole and put the probe in.. She kept on screaming, I took out another clump of dirt when large copper coin jumped out at me :yikes: I couldn't believe it and I still cant... It wasn't even 6 inches down.. After I got a grip I stood up and rechecked the hole.. I got a little nulling and falsing.. I removed more soil hoping something else could be down there trying to give a signal.. I ended up with was 1 large square nail and half of another! Like I said, this place is just crawling with nails.. I'm definitely going back with my little coil to spend some quality time and try to find her silver sister! :)

Thanks everyone!
