Quick hunt with the QXT Pro

Took the QXT Pro out for a quick hunt this morning. Didn't stay too long. It was hot so I stuck to the shady areas. Did manage a little loot and a ring. Feels good to get out after being sidelined with a kidney stone. Gotta love the Quantum series. Their nice units. Think I'll hit it again this evening after it cools a bit.

Looks like the QXT Pro is doing you well Mike. Every time I come to section of the forum there is something that surprises me -
For example-

You hardly ever see any posts about the Quantum series. I just came to this part of the forum to read up on White's detectors because I have a Quantum II on its way to me. A fella by the name of GoGoGopher just got a Quantum II the other day, come to find out he lives only 2 hours away from me. You (Mike) just made a posted saying how nice it was to get out with your QXT Pro after being sidelined with a kidney stone. Well as weird as things has been, can you believe that I am getting my Quantum II late tomorrow afternoon but won't be able to use it until tomorrow evening because I am scheduled to go to the hospital to get an xray for my kidney stones tomorrow morning. I just had a IVP last week but my urologist wants me to get another xray because there is the possibility of a stone in my passage way. I have been fighting kidney stones for 5 or 6 years I have been blasted (lithotripsy) 3 times. Mine break up after the blasting but I never pass any of them. They are no fun as you probably know. Steve.

P.S. Maybe if one of you fellas that are using the Quantum dectectors come here and post "I just won a million dollars", I might have another coincidence with ya's.

Steve, 6 years is how long I've been afflicted with these cursed things too. Here's a coincidence for you. My first stone that sent me to the ER was Aug. 8th 2004 on my wife's B-day. Had several more through out the year. The next year 2005 Aug. 8th yep another trip to the ER on the wifes B-day. She was beginning to wonder about me. I've got an IVP scheduled myself this week to make sure all the fragments are gone.

Good luck with Quantum. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Winning a Million dollars is definitely a coincidence I'd like to share with you :)

Lot of Qs out here lately the secret is out!

I use my QXT PRO and kill my buddy who uses an MXT on depth and pinpointing. I wish there was just a forum for the QXT guys using this website. I feel it would be nice to get more info on settings people are using since this detector has so many of them to fine toon. My last find was at 6.5 inches down by the enterance of the old pool i have been working and i know six or seven guys as well have hit this site. I found a 25 buffalo nickel a 43 nickel . I had gone over this little part of grass tons of times but just by messing with the settings bamm it came up. well good luck QXT users and if you need help i can give you my settings.

Very nice ring...Great machine...I am having my QII updated next month...
