Quick Hunt with MXT Pro at Tot - Lot ! :detecting:

A friend of mine and I hunted the Tot-Lot portion of a park area yesterday for about 1 1/2 hrs before it just got too HOT ! Anyway, the MXT Pro did very well again and by putting some silver on the board.... my first SILVER coin with it. (1964 Rosie in Excellent condition). :clapping: I know its not much when compared to others on the forum but I gotta start somewhere and it felt good to break into a bit of silver (vice Clad only) after 4 hunts with the Pro. Also of note: Found a 1958 Jefferson and a very old looking thimble which read "FRESHLY Roasted Grimmers". Lots of clad in a short amount of time !

My coin count during the hunt: 6 Quarters, 16 Dimes, 9 Nickels and 20 Memorial Pennies. (Still no Wheaties?) CCH

Nice finds. Silver is Silver ! I'd be stoked.

A quick 2 hour hunt at another park with the MXT Pro. The Pro with the 5.3 coil loves dimes. VDI=77 almost everytime. Found lots of clad, pulltabs & a few kids buttons. No silver  but enjoying my new hobby ! CCH

Nice finds , Congrats on the Pro its working good for you . Nice hunt and good job by you .

Cajun how do you like your sunray probe? I love mine a lot. I am saving up to buy a pair of sunray head sets. Just wondering how you like them and what you think. I have a cheap pair they get the job done for now. H.H.

That's some great finds EJ! I love the thimble. It's always nice to find a few other items besides coins. You're doing great and BIG congrats on your first silver and I know it's the first of many to come. Thanks for sharing and HH, Nancy
