Quick Hunt Today With My CZ-70 Pro

This morning after my breakfast of a cup o' joe & vitamins, I headed straight for Elm Park, which is one of my local haunts. Spent about 2 1/2 hours today swinging the coil until my knees screamed "no more", and came up with this find. Not really too much today, but I did get this nice 1920 Merc to make the trip worthwhile.

HH To All!

it is always a pleasure to find the dime of choice!..tell me,do you hip mount the c-70?..i ALWAYS had to,because although it is a terrific coin sniper,it IS terribly balanced, and was heavy to swing after a short while hunting.i always hip mounted,as it was a true pleasure JUST to swing the coil and rod only!

I don't hipmount the CZ-70, as I have a bad habit of getting tangled up when I've hipmounted before. Let me tell you though, swinging a CZ-70 really can build up your forearms!

you got that right!..had atime with mine, and it took alot of the pleasure away from hunting!..i was uncomfortable,so decided to hip nmount it,and believe me,it was like night and day balance wise,as i am sure you know!.i can tell you it got old real fast though,as i too would get tangled up with the cord, especially when laying the rod and coil down to dig!..the cord was getting in the way all the time!..performance wise though,i really hated to part with it!..it CAN suck 'em out of the ground with the best of them!

anything on the market in my opinion...including my SE. My cz70pro is along with me on every hunt. It is a little heavy...especially with the sunray 12" invader coil on it...but man is it deep. Once you pop out a silver dime from 8"+ in crappy dry soil...you can get used to the weight real fast!
